Full Professor of Management at the University of Huelva (Spain). He is currently also Director of Research at the International Institute for Research and Development of Special Interest Tourism (SITI1) and as a Visiting Professor at York St. John Business School in the United Kingdom. In the academic year 2002/03 he was distinguished with the Diploma of Excellence in Teaching and in 2006/07 with the Prize for Excellence and Quality in Teaching. Its basic research is oriented towards Strategic Management, complemented with application works focused mainly on the strategic management of companies and tourist destinations. He is the editor of the scientific magazine Enlightening Tourism. The Pathmaking Journal.
