António Eduardo Veyrier Valério Maduro, PhD in History (University of Coimbra), Professor at University Institute of Maia. Researcher at CEDTUR - research Center for Tourism Development and researcher at CETRAD – Center for Transdisciplinary Studies for Development /University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, and researcher at CHSC – Center for History, Society and culture/University of Coimbra. Secretary and assistant editor of PASOS – Journal of tourism and Cultural Heritage. Research interests: history, anthropology, cultural and industrial heritage, culture and tourism development. He has eleven books published, wrote several chapters of collective works, and several scientific articles in specialty magazines. Has coordinated and edited several scientific works.
