Dr. Faziawati Abdul Aziz received her Diploma in Architecture from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1999, and a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture with Honours from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2003. She then obtained a Master Degree in Urban Design from Leeds Metropolitan University and a PhD in APL (Architecture, Planning and Landscape) from Newcastle University, United Kingdom.
She is currently is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Design and Architecture, Universiti Putra Malaysia since 2012. She joined the Department of Landscape Architecture as a Contract Lecturer in 2005 and then as a Tutor in 2008 before pursuing her
PhD. Previously, Faziawati worked as an Architectural Technician at Frid Akitek in 1998 and later as a Landscape Designer at Morphosis Design until 2000.
