Massimiliano Masullo, Neapolitan, mechanical engineer with specialization in Acoustics and Noise Control. Since 2017 is Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design, Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. He worked in the field of air conditioning system design, environmental impact assessment, room acoustics and noise at work. Actually, is Professor of “Application of Acoustics, Lighting and Energetic” in the Master course in Architecture. He’s author of more than 110 publications in scientific journals and conference proceedings, national and international. His research activities are focused on noise exposure and comfort of individuals indoor and outdoor: Simulation, development and application of new methodologies for the assessment of noise impact; Occupational and extra-professional noise exposure; Psychoacoustic and noise comfort; Soundscape; sound absorption materials and architecture. Editor of the Rivista Italiana di Acustica (Associazione Italiana di Acustica) since 2015 and member of the editorial board of Acoustics in Practice (European Acoustic Association) since 2017. Reviewer for indexed international scientific journals. Chairman of structured sessions at conferences on acoustics. Member of the research group of national and international research projects.
