Dr. Nur Dalilah Dahlan holds a PhD degree from Cardiff University, United Kingdom.

She has a particular interest in investigating the relationship between affective-sensation and indoor perception.

From 2012 to 2014, Nur Dalilah worked as a Research Associate at the Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Lab, the University of Sydney, Australia.

She conducted a series of laboratory experiments in the field of thermal alliesthesia.

Her research works have been published in numerous publications both locally and internationally.

These include the publications in the journals of: Building and Environment (Elsevier); Applied Ergonomics (Elservier); Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews (Elsevier), and; Indoor and Built Environment (SAGE Publications). Nur Dalilah was also the Editor-in-Chief for Alam Cipta: International Journal of Sustainable Tropical Design Research and Practice (UPM Press) in 2011-2012. She actively held steering posts such as Secretary and Editor in the International Conference on Sustainable Tropical Environmental Design (SusTED) from 2010 until 2015. She has been invited as an Expert.

Reference at various government agencies and institutions both locally and internationally, namely, reviewer for journals and conferences, expert speaker, judge, research examiner and project assessor.

She has obtained an Intellectual Property (IP) for her Mobile Survey Application, RTR Psyc-P.

Upon posessing a colourful experience to coordinate and teach in both studio and non-studio subjects, Nur Dalilah has managed to organize a community engagement and knowledge transfer project between FRSB UPM and Sekolah Menengah Seri Serdang. As a recognition for her contribution in the field of Applied Ergonomics, she is currently appointed as a Board Director of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).

She is also an editorial board member for Journal of Occupational Safety and Health (JOSH), a professional journal published by NIOSH Malaysia.
