SAVERIO CARILLO (San Giuseppe Vesuviano 1963)
Associate professor for the academic disciplinary-sector 08/E2 (restoration), he is college member in teachers of doctorates of the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. He teaches Laboratory of Architectonical Restoration, Functional adaptation of the built space and Archeological Manufacts Restoration. He is among the most attentive Italians scholars of sacred architecture of the twentieth century having produced over 80 contributions on the subject. He has carried out numerous scientific collaborations on the restoration of bronze works, including the sculpture of Pericle Fazzini in the Vatican Audience Hall.
